DHS680RTJ Makita Circular Saw with 2 x 18v x 5Ah Lithium Batteries and 18v Charger is built round a powerful compact brushless DC motor plus automatic torque drive increasing the torque of the motor depending on the load while cutting. Features of DHS680RTJ Makita Circular Saw includes a magnesium base with 45 degree to 50 degree bevel cutting capacity, twin LED work lights with pre-glow and large lock off lever.

The clear LED indicator panel has 3 indicators for battery fuel gauge, auto torque drive and total overload protection, supplied with handy tool hanger for rafter or ladder storage. This 18v Circular Saw is supplied with 5Ah lithium batteries but can also be powered with genuine Makita 3Ah, 4Ah or 6Ah lithium batteries

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Makita customers can extend this initial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

  1. The easiest and quickest way to arrange Makita Warranty is to contact their dedicated warranty team on 0800 345 7942 they will assist and help to arrange the return from you at the earliest opportunity. Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed
  2. Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites
  3. Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift
  4. Makita's commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days

Please note that warranty does not apply where:-

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear or tear
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
  • Alterations have been made to the tool    
  • This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights
