BODY ONLY 18v DHR242Z Makita SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Drill built round a superb brushless DC motor that provides a higher level of productivity than previous Makita Hammer Drills. This high quality industrial 18v SDS-Plus Hammer Drill gives the trade 3 modes of operation rotation + hammering, hammering only and rotation only with a unique rubber joint construction suppresses the transmission of vibration minimizing battery failure such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact. Other features include one touch slide type chuck for SDS-Plus bits and easy grip handle giving the trade maximum power thrust with sure and comfortable grip in any operation. The DHR242Z tool body is separated into the upper and lower housings at the foot of the handle portion where the houses are jointed with vibration absorbing cushion rubbers

Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed
- Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites
- Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift
- Makita's commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days
