18v BODY ONLY DHS782ZJ Makita Circular Saw powered by 2 x18v Lithium Batteries (not supplied) and tough brushless motor technology driving the large 190mm blade to give a maximum cutting depth of 63mm and no load speed of 6000rpm, superb power to get the job done. The DHS782ZJ Circular Saw features include Automatic Torque Drive Technology that automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation, electric brake, soft start feature, bright LED worklight and very useful overload warning lamp.

With the x2 batteries this 18v Makita Circular Saw gives the trade power equivalent to a corded machine and precision cuts assisted by the magnesium die-cast base plate and positive stop at 45 degree bevel angle, improved visibility of the blade tip and is fully compatible with guide rails without having to use an adaptor

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Makita customers can extend this initial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

  1. The easiest and quickest way to arrange Makita Warranty is to contact their dedicated warranty team on 0800 345 7942 they will assist and help to arrange the return from you at the earliest opportunity. Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed
  2. Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites
  3. Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift
  4. Makita's commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days

Please note that warranty does not apply where:-

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear or tear
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
  • Alterations have been made to the tool    
  • This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights
