HP2071F Makita Percussion Drill 240v is built round a powerful 1010w motor at it's heart taking care of the most demanding jobs around any building site, the easy use 2-mode switch delivers hammering with rotation and rotation only conveniently located on the reverse side for easy access and use. The HP2071F Makita Percussion Drill uses a built-in torque limiter stopping bit rotation when hitting reinforcement preventing kick-back with increasing operator safety.

This 240v Percussion Drill has a large trigger switch and 360 degree swivel side handle giving added comfort with the recessed lock-on button allowing continuous use. Ball bearing construction gives longer motor life and an ergonomic and well balanced design with rubberized grip increases comfort and control reducing operator fatigue over longer periods of work and increasing overall safety. This HP2071F has a built-in shock-proof, high output white LED light illuminating drill surface

Makita Power Tools, Batteries and Chargers purchased from Power Tools UK are warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the original date of invoice. Makita customers can extend this initial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

  1. The easiest and quickest way to arrange Makita Warranty is to contact their dedicated warranty team on 0800 345 7942 they will assist and help to arrange the return from you at the earliest opportunity. Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed
  2. Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites
  3. Please carefully package the machine ready for transit clearly marking the RMA reference on the package in advance of the agreed time and date of uplift
  4. Makita's commitment to their product range means that they will always endeavour to keep a complete stock of all spares for current and older products within their range. Under normal conditions Makita UK will inspect, report, repair, replace and return within 7 working days

Please note that warranty does not apply where:-

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear or tear
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
  • Alterations have been made to the tool    
  • This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights
